Who I Am

I’m Kate Reed — a Customer Success leader, former agency director, and AI builder. Before founding MAKR, I spent 6 years leading CS at high-growth SaaS companies, helping teams retain customers, drive expansion, and scale smarter. Prior to that, I was Director of Client Services at a social media agency, where I built and led teams from scratch for global brands like Marriott and Virgin.

Why I Built MAKR

After 15+ years working directly with customers, I got tired of tools that generated more dashboards — but not more decisions. I discovered Agent.ai and started building. MAKR is my answer: AI agents that think like your best CSM and help your team act strategically, every step of the way.

Outside of Work

When I’m not building agents or talking about Customer Success, you’ll find me hiking in the PNW with my family, experimenting (badly) with watercolors, or training for my next marathon
